Welcome back to another year of the Thailand Expedition with a new team (bios of each member available in the 'Meet The Team' page). Helen Fergusson who was on the 2019 expedition is co-leading with Lauren Kennedy this year. We are all extremely excited from the work we will be doing and are currently working very hard to get everything ready for departing in June.
Now that 2020 has begun were ramping up the fundraising, we have been bucketing in the past few months however this January sees our first Pub Quiz which is Shrek themed! as well we have our biggest event currently organised a Masquerade Ball which will be hosted in the Glasgow University Union on the 29th of February! Tickets are available through the Facebook page to be bought in advance as well as some available on the night. In conjunction with these events we will all be doing our own personal fundraising as well as further bucket shaking.
We are also contacting our previous connections with schools in both Thailand and Scotland to educated future generations about marine science and the threats the oceans are facing.
