So far this semester the fundraising for next years expedition has been a great success!!
We kicked off our fundraising by doing some bucket shaking at Scotstoun stadium and the SSE hydro!!!
Following this, we also decided to have our own fundraiser bake sale outside Queen Margaret Union, which went very well for us, selling lots of home baked goods and also some friendship bracelets too!
Over the holidays we have been running a prize giveaway too, in which the winner gets one of our 2019 Marine Life calendars, made using pictures taken by one of our leaders Melanie.
Near the end of semester we decided to meet up for a Christmas Pot luck and Secret Santa before finishing for the holidays!!
We can't wait to get back into fundraising in the 2nd semester, so far we have announced a games night at GUU on Thursday the 10th of January!!!
Thanks to everyone who has donated to our expedition so far, every small donation goes a long way into helping our research and we're super excited to announce more events next semester!
