Its been a wee while since our last blog post so we thought we would give an update on our fundraising for Shrove Tuesday!
On the lead up to our Pancake Karaoke night on Shrove Tuesday, we decided to promote the event by having a pancake decorating station outside Queen Margaret Union! We made a bunch of pancakes and let passers by donate some money and decorate our pancakes with a wide variety of spreads and toppings!
After our Promotional event outside QMU, we had our main karaoke event at a west end pun/venue called the Hug & Pint. Our guests received free food from the Hug& Pint upon entry as well as lots of pancakes to eat and decorate! Throughout the night everyone had a go at some karaoke and halfway through we held our timed pancake eating competition.
On Shrove tuesday, our team T-shirts and vests also arrived, which we sported throughout the evening, featuring our team logo, University of Glasgow and our sponsors Euroexam International!

We hope you enjoyed the night as much as we did!! Our next upcoming event is our Ceilidh at Glasgow University Union on the 15th of March that we are co-hosting with our good friends on the GU Guyana Expedition which we are very excited about!
